The Bayer company manufactures both the Sarasto collar and the Foresto collar, both of which are exactly the same.
So what’s the difference? Just the name.
While the common collar is sold internationally under the name Seresto, in Europe it is sold under the name Foresto. The Sarasto collar is manufactured in the company’s factories in the United States, while the Foresto collar is manufactured in the company’s factories in Germany, and is intended for the European market.
The collar is effective for a period of up to 8 months.
Foresto collar is the only collar on the market that provides protection for the longest time.

Dosage and method of application: One collar is intended for use by one animal. Depending on the size of the animals, collars of different lengths are used:
for dogs weighing up to 8 kg and cats – a collar 38 cm long (12.5 grams);
For dogs weighing more than 8 kg – a 70 cm long collar (45 grams).
After opening the package, unfold the collar and break all the plastic fasteners. Do not tighten the collar around the animal’s neck so that there is a gap of 2 fingers between the neck and the collar.
Pull the collar through the loops and cut off the rest.
Reflectors are added to each collar in order to show the animals in the dark. Reflectors are installed on the collar in an amount of up to 3 parts after the collar is fixed on the animal’s neck. Fixed reflectors are not removable and cannot be reused.
The reflectors included in the collar are intended for use only with the Foresto collar and have only been tested in conjunction with this collar.
Contraindications:
Collar Ford should not be used in patients with infectious diseases and convalescing animals;
Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age and kittens under 10 weeks of age; The use of the collar for pregnant and lactating animals is possible after consultation with a veterinarian.
