Active ingredients in Simparica: Cerulean
Ingredients: hypromellose acetate succinate, lactose monohydrate, silicon colloid, magnesium, corn starch, confectioners’ sugar, glucose, dried pork liver powder. Hydrolyzed vegetable protein, gelatin type, wheat germ, calcium hydrogen phosphate
Indications for use:
Treatment of dogs with tick bites. Simparica gives protection for 5 weeks.
Treatment and prevention of dogs with flea bites
Prevention and treatment of dogs with anti-allergic dermatitis (FAD)
Treatment of dogs in case of damage by scabies, mites.
For Simparica to work effectively, fleas and ticks must attach to the dog’s skin and ingest Simparica, which will kill fleas after 8 hours and ticks after 12 hours.
Using Simparica directly reduces the risk of tick-borne diseases for 4-5 weeks.
Dosage:
Simparica is given once orally with or without food at a dose of 2-4 mg/kg body weight.
Dog weight and Simparica dose
Simparica for dogs weighing 5 to 10 kg 1 tablet. (20 mg)
Simparica for dogs weighing 10 to 20 kg 1 tablet. (40 mg)
Simparica for dogs weighing 20 to 40 kg 1 tablet. (80 mg)
Animals take Simparica without any problem, due to the fact that the chewable tablets have a heavy taste. If the dog does not consume the tablet on its own, it must be given with food.
