The Bayer company manufactures both the Seresto collar and the Foresto collar, and they are both exactly the same.
So what’s the difference? Just the name. While the common collar is sold internationally under the name Seresto, in Europe it is sold under the name Foresto. The Seresto collar is manufactured in the company’s factories in the United States, while the Foresto collar is manufactured in the company’s factories in Germany, and is intended for the European market.
The collar is particularly effective against ticks and fleas for small dogs weighing over 8 kg. The Foresto collar is the most advanced and high-quality collar on the market today against fleas and ticks for dogs.
The collar is effective for a period of up to 8 months. Foresto collar is the only collar on the market that provides protection for the longest time.
Protection against fleas and ticks with Bayer Foresto – collar
Collar Foresto 70 cm contains: imidacloprid – 2.03 grams; fluometrine – 4.5 grams.
Indications: Prevention and treatment of flea infestation (Ctenocephalides felis / canis) between 7 and 8 months.
The collar has an acrid effect against ticks Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus and against ticks Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus for 8 months.
Treatment of infection with lice beetles (Trichodectes canis). Effective collar against larvae, nymphs and ticks.
Dosage and method of application: One collar is intended for use by one animal. Depending on the size of the animals, collars of different lengths are used:
for dogs weighing up to 8 kg and cats – a collar 38 cm long (12.5 grams);
For dogs weighing more than 8 kg – a 70 cm long collar (45 grams).
After opening the package, unfold the collar and break all the plastic fasteners. Do not tighten the collar around the animal’s neck so that there is a gap of 2 fingers between the neck and the collar.
Pull the collar through the loops and cut off the rest.
Reflectors are added to each collar that reflect light and are designed to show animals in the dark. Reflectors are installed on the collar in an amount of up to 3 parts after the collar is fixed on the animal’s neck. Fixed reflectors are not removable and cannot be reused. The reflectors included in the collar are intended for use only with the Foresto collar and have only been tested in conjunction with this collar.
The collar with constant use provides protection against pests for 8 months. The collar must be well adjusted on the animal’s neck
